Help identifying a Pinarello I just picked up
Hey guys, so I finally got an older steel frame Italian road bike! Its not in the best of condition, but it was cheap, and there are no nice bikes in Orlando. Anyways! Onto the bike identification, I really just want to figure out what model it is, and roughly the year.
So identifiers that I gleaned from reading around other "help me identify my pinarello threads" are listed below.
1. The bike is fairly beat, and the paint flakes and peels fairly easily, but then again there is a fair amount of rust on the bike. There is no chrome underneath the blue paint
2. Two sets on water bottle braze-ons, and the front derailleur is braze-on, indicative of mid 80's to later?
3. Seatstays are pantographed GPT, dropouts are plain
4. Fork is matching colour, no chrome at all, and flat crown, pantographed as well.
5. The headtube badge is metal, not a sticker.
6. The seatpost is a 27.0 diameter post...
Maybe a catena Lusso or a Cadore? Were any Trevisos made without the chrome? but things just dont add up between the lack of chrome and some of the other details regarding possible years it was made. If anybody can shine some light on this, that would be fantastic. I can also get more pictures of anything.
