Apartment
Hi folks! My daughter has a job at a apartment complex in bike loving Davis Ca.. A lot of collage kids rent from her and occasionally when one of them move out they leave behind a bike or two. Nothing spectacular but she did bring home three bikes for me. One was a Schwinn Ranger mtn bike, complete, Just needed air in the ties and a new seat. Not a great bike but heck I wanted a mtn bike anyway.
And also a cute little Schwinn girls Suburban single speed. The rear baring's I think are bone dry! Hard to spin.
And the coolest bike is a 1980's Schwinn World Tourist 5 speed. Unfortunately way too big for my body....And its pretty rusty as well but rebuildable. So I'm thinking maybe part it out and sell the frame to the jolly green giant who wants to convert it to a fixie perhaps...
My daughter says more to come so Ill keep you posted!

Bikes: A green one, "Ragleigh," or something.

The parts on that old Schwinn aren't really worth anything, but that doesn't mean your friend can't make a fun little fixie out of it. Just give him the whole thing.
Those other photos on your flickr are pretty nice. Some beautiful scenery around there.
