Show your "Santa" Themed Bike

Just finished this one up. A low end Motobecame mixte. I've paired it up with a Sturmey Archer '67 S5 hub shifted by Suntour power ratchets. The front is a no name drum brake hub and is my first unsupervised wheel build. Both are laced to new Sun CR18 26 X 1&3/8 rims with green cheapo tires. I used the original cranks (minus the large ring) and BB. The gearing is 39-22, so pretty low and nothing high.

The lights are from fellow C&Vers. Jim Muller recently gave me the front and cudak888 gave me the rear a few years ago. The are wired to rechargeable lead acid batteries in the center frame bag. I also have matching red panniers to haul more presents!

Must have a lot of space for presents with all those saddle bags. Nice bike, pastor. Unfortunately I can't really add to this thread, the last santa bike I had was a "batavier", a junior brand of Batavus. Red with white fenders. It had a wicked cool headbadge depicting a fierce warrior from the ancient tribe that gave Batavus it's name, the Batavii. It was my pride and joy in kindergarten!

How effective is the drum brake on the front? I've been pondering a three speed wheelset with drum/kick brakes..

This is about the closest I can come to Christmas and bikes. There's a little red in the decals.

I tried to fit some bigger meats on it, but there isn't room for brakes.

Does this one count, Pastor? 1986 Claud Butler Elan (what I call a 'Fraud Claud' because they were made by Marlborough at that time), rubbish previous respray stripped to bare metal and built up for my nephew's GF Anna, who lives in Hamburg, Germany and was desperate to have 'an old English racing bike from the 1980's'. The parts reflect her intended use: daily transport in city traffic, hence the stem shifters, turkey levers, trouser guard chainwheel and dork disk - also the near indestructible and easily replaced Tourney rear mech. Anna really loves it - she chose the colour scheme, which I think does look a bit Christmassy?

the lights have three burn rates: steady, slow flash, and fast flash. they are 2 separate lights,
so don't flash in synch.

Oldpeddallar and RogerM, very nice!

The drum brake works well enough. I actually found a mid '60s Sturmey Archer TCW (3 speed IGH w/ coaster brake and notoriously prone to failure) at the dump this fall after I had laced the S5 to the SunCR18. Eventually I see it on this bike for the all weather braking capability.

I shove this into the living room every year, come December. (And should you wonder: yes, that is a church door. So much classier than a garage door, don't you think?)

Never thought of it in a Santa way, and the lack of white is a drawback. However, a couple of times it was given the nickname 'the big red sled'. But that's a stoker's story.
edit: steel, Co-Motion with 'ghost' decals.

1989 Club Fuji has the Red and White, with a sprig of Green, color scheme, but not much room to haul presents.

My bike is red and white and I put on a set of green cyclocross tires on it. *shudder* now is the only time of year I can hope to pull off that look!
I have battery powered Christmas Lights on my backpack now for the commute. If I put the rack on the bike I'll wrap them around it.
