'91 Ed Litton-Finally Done!

I got this frame from "Whatwolf" in March of last year. Thought I had all the parts, but of course I didn't. Life happened in there as well-moved from NC to CA....

Finished it up last week and went for a 37 mile shakedown this weekend. All I can say is "very nice". It is smooth, quick, and responsive without being too twitchy. I'm very happy. I will be looking for a 39 tooth DA chainring though-getting older....

Clean.

I'm building a Whatwolf-sourced frame for a buddy. Hope hope turns out nice like that one!

Beautiful build. Sleek, elegant, no nonsense.

I'd have figured that frame would have a threaded fork. Did you use a threadless adapter?

I notice the little ring on the front skewer nut is black. I'm used to seeing these all chrome. Did you paint yours black or did it come that way?

It came threadless. No adapter.

The skewer ring is black because all the chrome flaked off. The black is naval jelly plus Mother's and some elbow grease.

The majority of the parts came off of a Medici Pro Strada that I bought off of CL. Came with a cracked chainstay (identified by the seller) and five sets of wheels for a very nice price. FD and brifters came from BF folks. Wheels are new H-Son+ with a set of hubs from the aforementioned CL deal. Cassette and chain are new via Amazon. BB is a Shimano cartridge as I could not locate a Dura Ace square taper Italian thread, ISO/British width set-up. Bars are new Ritchey American Classic. Stem and saddle came from inventory.

I plan to dial in the fit with inventory stems and then replace the spacers and stem with polished aluminum. Seat will be changed at some point-I don't particularly like this one aesthetically or from a fit standpoint.

Thank you for the compliments. And yes the front skewer issue will be addressed....
