Who's the Boss

I inquired about this Centurion Ironman frame having DT shifter bosses and the seller claims they are there. I see the plates brazed on, but no posts. I say it's been drew'd.

You are correct. Seller is incorrect. Clamp on shifters would work, with the remnants of the boss acting as a stop so they don't slide down.

He's made the correction in his description. If the price stays low, this is a FG-SS special.

Ahh.......yes he did. For someone with brazing skills it could be a nice project on a Tange 1 frame.

r0ckh0und, If nothing else has been removed, I wonder if cable stops would work allowing bar end, integrated or stem shifters to be used.

Brad

PS Would require drilling and tapping along with a longer screw.

Yer all nutz, it's Bruce Springsteen. That's kinda messed up, but clamp-on bands would work fine there, as has been mentioned. I hope someone got a fair price on it.
