If you believe what your signature line says then you can believe whatever you want about the BB stamp and it doesn't matter.

My fault, I guess. I wrote my first response mostly because of what I thought was a rude response to Repechage.

The TT is common for many Raleighs. It is a manufacturer mark.

I almost hate to say something serious, and break the spell, but...
Mine has various bottom bracket markings, as well.
I'd guess it has something to do with the bike frame assembly worker, at that time.
Maybe an ID of sorts, nothing more.
Just a guess, but there you have it.

I never read it as a letter T, the crossbar being too short for me, I read it as two number one stamps, note the artifact at what would be the base if it was a letter T, reads as 11 to me.

Unfortunate gap on the chainstay bridge too.

A campaign by politicians to raise doubt about accepted fact for no other purpose than protect the business interest of those who make major contributions to political campaigns is political, so yes. There is no doubt among legitimate scientist.

Here is a Competition with a couple X's. Or crosses. Or 1's on top of each other. Or sideways plus signs.

...if you have grown beyond all that "original and authentic" business, double pivot Weinmann
centerpull brakes can be made to work quietly and efficiently most simply by swapping over to
a couple of sets of these guys, which allow very nice angling and toe in adjustment.

If you still want the thing original, the noise warns people to watch out for you, so there's that.
