Cheapo Chinese Bike
I was reading a thread about the Flying Pigeon that reminded me of a bike in the garage.
I bought this nearly a year ago. The OP hadn't a clue as to how to assemble it, and was so disgusted that she just wanted it gone. I think I paid $75, because I felt sorry for her.
The fork was backwards, with the bars in the right direction. The cables were all twisted, and the V-brakes were not adjusted. The front fender stays were bent in shipping, so the fender was off the bike. In short it looked like a heavy "Dutch Style" ladies bike - and since I didn't have one, I naturally bought it.
Anyhow, after an hours work, and the purchase of new SKS fender stays, here it is - and I must say that I like it. It is very comfortable and well made (although of basic materials).
But I think I have enough cable housing excess to do another 1/2 bike.

Color matched rims and white tires for $75?!?! Where do you go when you've reached the top?
