Apologies - you're right, I won't post further. Kunosmoke - if you'd like to discuss, feel free to PM me. It is an enjoyable debate.

So why did you bring up the Germans? Were you trying to suggest weapons were not necessary absent Nazis to fight?

I hate to tell you this, but you don't get to make that determination, nor does your mayor. Anymore.

Using a gun for home "protection" is as effective as using a horse and carriage for transportation.

You can have as many guns as you want, I don't know why you think I give a crap if you have 1 or 1000. But your "reason" for home protection is laughable.

The horse and carriage is very effective transportation, but you should always carry a gun under the seat, for protection from highwaymen.

No "reason" is required, nor do I need to explain or justify. Further discussion should occur by PM, so as to avoid thread shutdown and further embarrassment on your part.

In other news - 'Pee-wee's Playhouse' Coming to Blu-Ray, in a 45-Episode Box Set (Exclusive) - TheWrap

Forty-five episodes of the innovative hit show from the late '80s, in completely-restored Blu-Ray disc glory. Nobody can say Reubens wasn't creative after watching.

Just to reminisce, my college roomie never missed the show on Saturday mornings - and he would scream the magic word for the rest of the day (as would others). Made me wonder if the college kids weren't the target demographic from the beginning.

That's what I was thinking, but I contributed my piece early on before it turned into a gun control theme... Of course, I chimed in with my own take on gun control.

Perhaps if he added the term "anthropogenic" it'd be more accurate.

Everybody's got a big but.

Now let's talk about your big but, Simone.
