Advice/Ideas requested
 

Ok, so I am going to have a little money available to play with. While I am tempted to find another bike, I am thinking it would be better spent upgrading the ones I have.

This is the one I am wondering about....

Would lighter rims be a good investment?
Would a better level Grupo be better?
Something else?
Nothing?

Focus on the Lemond, don't go whole hog, and sell off the take-offs. Spend the rest on your wife.

Fenders on your commuter.

Spend the rest on your wife.

Wheels and tires for the Lemond, then purchase an ultegra triple RD for the lemond (try to find an older 6500 series NOS), then move the sora RD to the commuter. Fenders for the commuter if it rains where you live. My $.02

I'm with CM, strip the Sora and move it to the commuter, upgrade to 105 or Ultegra.

Then spend too much on tires for everything.

Ok. So, concentrating on the LeMond was what I was thinking, but I wasn't sure if wheels or group would be a better focus.

Wheels first? Ok...which ones? Suggestions? Ideas? Reasons?

I already have have a big chunk set aside for wife and some things she wants done around the house.

Tires...LeMonds are new. Torpado aren't very old. Commuter could use a new set.
