Ramiko Chrome Fork---any good, or pass?
Hey all-
I'm looking to put a chrome fork with a sloping crown on my '74 Nishiki Professional. I've been perusing the usual outlets on the internet (my LBS's don't have much in the way of parts like this), and I've found quite a few sites selling this Crmo fork by Ramiko. Should I pull the trigger, or should I find something more "reputable" instead, possibly in a different color, and have it chromed? Basically, is it junk, or is it probably made in the same factory as the similar, but more expensive Fuji fork in red I'm looking at on eBay?

Why have all the suppliers for bike parts colluded to not provide any weight information? Doesn't this Nishiki come with a flat-topped crown? I'm sorry to say I found your question because I was checking this fork out, out of date. Last time I acquired something like this I had to have it milled for the headset, sort of a breach of lbs etiquette, even though they don't have anything like it.
