Nice bike !
Does it get any more cool than this?
I suppose so. But not by much, IMO.

Those lugs are beautiful. Looks to be in your back yard too.

Well, the price is right right now. Nice color.
I don't need another one... One is enough, right? Right?

Non-drive side pic. Plastic bar tape. Plastic saddle. Insertion marks on stem. 26.2 seatpost leads me to think inferior tubing. Probably needs complete overhaul. Hubs, BB headset. All effects value. Flat tires too. I'd pass. Will need several hundred dollars in parts and upgrades. Oh yeah, bolt on wheels too. A repaint as well. Black would look cool with some bullhorns!

That bike needs Clement Seta No.3's.
Just a bit big. Thankfully. I have no business buying a bike right now. Accounts are depleted, quarterlies paid.

ARGH! You guys are bad. Auchen and CroMo.
Interesting paint. Looking at the details of the fork crown, it almost looks like it could be an old repaint.
But, looking at the close ups, it looks authentic.

Hard to tell from the photos, but the masking on the eBay bike is virtually the same. I just checked. Also, hard to imagine anybody repainting it with as fragile paint as Cinelli used. I'm sure it is original.

Thanks, root.
As a rider, it doesn't do much for me. The '56 Frejus and the '62 Ephgrave are more relaxed and don't leave me feeling wrung out the way the Cinelli does.
In a way, I'm glad it doesn't ride as well as it looks. It is one glamorous machine in extraordinary original condition, and as long as it hangs on the wall, it'll stay that way. Blasphemy to many, I know, but I don't get tired of looking at it.
The Frejus is my go-to fixed gear. That bike is magic...

Umm, that's New York, pilgrim!
I've ridden it on Kissena's lunar-surface track, where it felt pretty good. Still, the Frejus felt better to me even there. I think the Cinelli would be happiest on a smooth track.

Got enough Frejus, I think. I might wind up with a fourth one if a customer makes good on his promise...
