I don't know what I'm doing with it yet - but it's very different and kind of interesting. Huge thanks to Rudi and Dallas for advising me on value and what to look for; this likely will belong to Dallas at some point anyway. It has an Italian kickstand for some reason.
It's better looking than it's photo'ing. Most of it is original - both aluminum Dunlop rims, the pedals, cranks and bars. I'd like to find some appropriate fenders at some point. It clearly needs a good cleaning and polishing - most of the patina seems like it should clean up quite nicely.

Holy moly that's a sweet looking machine. Appropriate fenders should not be too difficult to get, but the stays are like hen's teeth. Oh, and don't forget to relocate that trigger shifter to just below the right brake.

Kidding aside, most of that chrome will clean up great. I have had really good luck with old Raleigh chrome and either a light OA mix in a bucket or by applying Bar Keepers Friend directly on in a paste form. Let is sit for about a half hour and then wipe with a damp cloth.

Should clean up well - it has a niggle. The lower pump peg isn't there, but there is a small hole that goes through the frame. It uses a clamp on pump peg instead.
It is definitely long term if I take this on.
Apopgies Zaphod - and good to see you again!

I'd not be too concerned with something like that at this point. I'm guessing the brazing let loose or something like that. Ride it to see how you like it and then decide if it's your cup of tea. When you ride it, just remember that those rims and the quick release shifter linkages are damned near impossible to find. That is really a very nice find.

Awesome bike - love the wing nuts! Try the aluminum foil trick on a lot of that surface rust - I think you'll be surprised/pleased with the outcome.

Rudi said he's never seen these rims - they must be hens teeth. I'll be ginger...no curbs. It really is totally different than anything else I own, but that's a good thing. How many campy bikes can someone own?!?

Make it safe to ride, if it's not safe already. Then commute on it for a week. It is not a thief magnet. No one who knows how special it is will mess with it. I see stuff like this on the street, and it's safe.
Once you commute on it for a few days, you'll know what to do.
Is this the one with the Sturmey Archer AM hub? I'm gonna get one of those when I grow up.

Okay, I know this is a sensitive topic, but I would hesitate to say what is, and what isn't, a thief magnet.
As for the bike, looks great! How's spoke tension? in my experience old wheels often need to be tightened up quite a bit.
Pedals are not original.
Front brake is bent. Probably not a big deal. NOS Replacement brakes are avbailable. Double-ended brake cables are not so easy to find; but I have the tools to make them if you need them.
The great thing about old IGH bikes like this is that, once they're tuned up and the hub has been ridden enough to really loosen up, they are less finicky than old derailleur bikes. You may like this more than you meant to!

Should be an interesting project for you Aaron, maybe find one of those 1-off prototype ultra rare and scarce Campag IGH set ups for it to keep with your other bicycles

If I see too many more of this vintage, I may get sucked in! My favorite part is the bottle cage! Sereously, I like the fork crown and those wing nuts are really pleasing to see! Congrats and have fun! Let see the updates!
