Your right about the ride, alright. I actually prefer the ride to my Cinelli, by quite a bit... (covers head, runs and hides)

Very nice Devin! Sorry, not enough of a francophile to help on the hanger issue, but loved the shift above

Thank you! I do have some beautiful Huret Jubilee shifters on hand, so if I could track down a Jubilee rear derailleur that would work with the Simplex hanger that might work as well.

LOL sorry! How's this, if you're ever in Toronto, ride West along the water until you're almost at the dinosaurs, and you'll see these, there are four of them, surrounding a maple leaf on the ground.

Okay I get it now! The seatpost is a Zeus Criterium from the 60's! The pillars behind the bike are cool too.

thank you devinfan. the logo/marking on the front of the pillar could be seen in your photos but not well enough to read. hence my query. anpi is another brand of "copyoglo" saddle pillar from spain. hence my question.

Of course, mon ami. But if you refer to it as a pillar, you must not be from around these parts.

Then again, "these parts" on the Internet is just about everywhere, eh?

Thanks. I've no idea what it is. Bought it as a frame set, some weeks ago. Possibly Dutch, but more probably Belgian.

non-fixie,

thanks for sharing your interesting mystery orange bike.

what hs is that? the upper stack looks small in the foto but it may be just a photographic effect.

are those yoshi skewers you have in there?

frame looks like a production build with the spot welded chainstay stop of stamped sheet and the apparently crimped seatstay tops. if benelux, i would expect her to be all iso; is that correct?

thank you for any information.

I really, really hate this thread, . Now I'm going to have to find some old school vintage orange bike to build up. I have one orange bike, but I'm clearly going to need a vintage one as well.

The headset is a Tange Levin; the hubs and skewers are '77 Shimano. BB is BSC-threaded. Here are some details of the frame:

Sorry, @devinfan, for hijacking your thread. Maybe we should start another "Show us your orange bikes" thread?

Please, let's do.

The remnant of the striped decal on that stay cap above looks vaguely familiar to me, but I can't place it.

will be curious to read if rb recalls anything additional concerning the ss transfer on non-fixie's orange frame. the metal itself offers to my mind no "griffe" that could lead to an identification...

perhaps the forum has some benelux experts who will contribute...

wrt Monsieur Raymond: the forum now has three threads on him. i'm wondering if it would not be clearer for new readers to follow if they were put together...

what do you think?
