Who's in?
Just got a confirmation for my ticket today. Not sure which bike I'm going take, maybe the SOMEC if I can finish it in time. Otherwise probably one of the ALANs. Perhaps the fixeh (gasp!).

I'm in. Got a cabin at a campsite somewhat 20k outside Oudenaarde. Unfortunately not the same as Elev12k, like last year. I'll still owe him and the Brits a couple of six-packs
I hope to bring two bikes, one for the crit race and one for the main event. All depending on how big a car I can borrow.
What gruppo is on your Somec now? You know, non aero cables and friction DT-shifters are 'mandatory' If you're bringing the Alan, make note that the cobblestones are ruthless and unforgiving.

This is the top line on my bucket list... but not this year.
Would it be bad form (unretro) to strap a POV camera on my bike with the DT shifters? Cuz I'm pretty sure I'd want to document the ride.

Yeah, the SOMEC (no group on it yet, have to trawl marktplaats a bit more!) might be out, since the only DT-shifting groups that are appropriate for it are all with aero levers and 8 speeds, like CdA, Athena and latter day C-Record, and I don't really feel like messing with the infamous Syncro either.
If all else fails, I still have my trusty Giant that I've been commuting on the past few months, although its ugly as sin.

Great! It would be nice doing a ride with you again, too bad I missed all the fun last year.

I'm in. Not sure about which bike. I'd like to take the L'Expres, but I'll need to do something about the gearing. With a 47x21 low gear it's not going to get me anywhere.

I'm in! Bringing my trusted Poggio (it knows the way) to both the race and 100K.
I live in Ghent so anyone who needs help with logistics, pm me!
Should we organise a pre/post drink?

I'll be ascending that tripel on saturday as well. It'll be fun to meet up. You will recognize me on the main square in Oudenaarde, wearing my nick on my shirt.

Hope you guys all have a blast. I have to miss it this year, all the more's the shame because I have to leave Europe in June, so this would've been my last chance for a long time. I met up with CMAW and StevenC on this ride last year and it was a great event.
Steep little *****es of cobbly hills though...

Mrs non-fixie and I will be arriving in Oudenaarde on Thursday. I've just been testing my Retroronde bike for a week in the french Provence. It kinda works.

Thanks for the invitation, CMAW! But as I've got mrs non-fixie with me, we'll probably stick to some leisurely touring of the Oudenaarde region on Friday and hit the market on Saturday.
