Cinelli logos

2 Attachment(s)
Hope this is the right place for this thread. I bought a pair of Cinelli 65 Criterium bars off CL and the guy said he thought they were the newer 64mm clamp size. They were pretty snug getting on my 26mm 1a stem. Seemed more snug than getting my Nitto noodle on there at least. I was trying to figure out through the logos whether the bars were actually the older 26.4mm model. I obviously don't want to run 26.4mm bars through a 26mm stem so any help on these logos? Thanks so much. I appreciate any guidance.

unless they said 26.0 on the clamp they're 26.4. Based on the logo I'd say they are 26.4.

Well then it seems I've got a situation. Damn.

The logo is identical to the new version, and I don't think the reissues say 26.0 on them...not sure, still have old ones. A vernier caliper would tell you the size.

Indeed I could be wrong. I am unfamiliar with the new version. i do have a set of criteriums with that logo that are 26.4 thought.

Me too, but the reissues use the same logo, just not sure if they say 26.0 on them like the original models did. A caliper would be the sure way to tell.

yeah it doesn't say 26 on the bars at all. I don't have any calipers at the moment unfortunately. My only worry is that when I slide the sleeve into the clamp opening it seems like it takes more effort than it has in other instances with other quills stems and bars that were the same size.

My older 65's have 26.4 on the end of the bar, if that helps.

Never seen one stamped 26.4, as that was assumed, only 26.0, unless yours was a late model.

Ahhhh! Why don't I own calipers? Now I'm going to be obsessing over this until the hardware store opens tomorrow.

Calipers confirm 26.4.
