Circlips for Campy Tipo QR's

Campagnolo Tipo hub quick release levers are held on not by a threaded nut (as with the Record) but by a tiny circular metal clip. I believe these are called "circlips" but feel free to correct me. Can anybody tell me where I could find some of these? I tried Home Depot which had about a million sizes, but nothing that fit. I am improvising right now with wire tightly twisted around the lever nub, but this is a rather lame and possibly dangerous solution.

A while ago I obtained a clip for a Record front derailleur pivot at the ACE hardware store. It surprised me that I found one that fit exactly. Perhaps the only case in which you can source something for 40 year old Campy parts locally.

I found an E-clip that worked on a Simplex demultiplicator relais at McMaster-Carr, but it wasn't cheap since the minimum order was 25 and I had to pay for shipping. You're much better off if you can find it locally.
