"Advertised/claimed" weights of bikes, when manufacturers gave them out, were notoriously inaccurate.
I suspect that many were weighed without reflectors and water bottles and cages. Many also note on their catalogs "Specifications subject to change without notice...."
In the end, you can only trust yourself by weighing the bikes yourself, especially as most bikes get modified through the years that could affect the weights of the bikes, depending on each owner's preferences. So the weights of two bikes of the same model and age, never really match up.
