Headset seals for an early 70s Campy Record?

I have an early 70s road bike with a Campy headset marked "Brev. Campagnolo." Internet indications are that this is part of the Nuovo Record group.

I took it apart to rebuild tonight and did not pull any seals out of it, top or bottom. Anyone know if they should be in there? I've seen parts diagrams for various Campy headsets, some with and some without. It's ridden fine without - but if someone knows that's a part of this headset and I can find them somewhere one day, I'll replace them.

Thanks!

I never encountered any seals on N.R. or S.R. headsets.

The very first Campagnolo head sets did have an O ring seal, soon gone from the design, but the stack height remained.

Seals returned with the Campagnolo off road groups from the later 80's.
