The seller actually posted here about that bike, I have no idea where he came up with the Nuovo Rosso name, maybe it is his name. The Formula Two tubing and the style of decals would lead me to believe the bike started out as a '87 something Maybe a Campione de Italia or Nuovo. Bianchi used the same frame over most of the Italian built road line up that year so with it doesn't really mater what model it started as.
Still not a great pic but much better than ones on CL. If it fits and is in really good shape $300 is probably not a bad price. Does it fit?

If you want to ride it like this the price is not bad really. If you're looking to built something special and a "I made this bike" kind of feeling you should probably look for a naked frame and start from there.

This would be my bike. When I bought the bike, it had a decal on the top tube that said Nuovo Alloro that was starting to peel off so I removed it. According to my research, it seems to be a mid level bike. It isn't one of the low end models nor ones equipped with Campy. The parts that were swapped onto this are nothing special. I just wanted to build a cool looking steel frame Bianchi to put tons of miles on and be comfortable without breaking the bank.
It is a Nuovo Alloro model to the best of my understanding.
