Help ID another Pinarello!

Serial number T15. Not original paint. Graphics are not decals (painted). Nice restore.

Frame features say pre-1984 but chrome triangle says later. Perhaps chrome was added during resto?

Purdy! I may be wrong, but I think if the rear stays are chrome, the whole bike is chrome. What is different is that where it is painted, the chrome is rough so the paint will adhear. With a repaint it is difficult to identify the model. Looks like top line or close to me. Have you checked for the spiral feature in the tubes? If so, it is SLX.

What throws me is the Victory group. Typically the top of the line goes that direction with the group too, either Record or Dura-Ace. I have a Tre Cime (I think) that is not chrome and was sold with Victory. I also have a Masi Gran Corsa that was offered with Sante, Victory or 105. It is the third level down from the Criterium and 3V models.

If you have a Pinarello, and one that looks like that one, enjoy. It really doesn't matter too much which model. If you choose to upgrade your group, I might be interested as I would entertain putting Victory on either the Tre Cime (currently have Suntour Superbe Pro targeted to go on) or the Masi (it is only a frame and fork [FS]).

Nice looking machine. I love the pantograph on the bottom side of the levers.

Thanks guys. I pulled the seat post out and stuck my finger down there and it's smooth. I'm pretty happy to have it, of course, so the model isn't super important. I'd love to narrow down the year though. Does T15 as the serial number mean anything at all?
