replacement hoods for campagnolo nuovo record brake levers
I know that old gum hoods are crazy expensive. Has anyone used the cane creek non-aero hoods? They're pretty inexpensive as long as they fit the levers.
Here's an old thread on this, https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...hood-help.html
Looks like at least one poster thought that the cane creek non-aero brake lever hoods was a less than lovely fit on campy NR brake levers.
Any other real world experience with them or with alternatives?

There are lots of threads about this here at CV!
A good one: https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...d-sources.html
If black is ok: Lickbike.com | Euro-Asia Imports Campagnolo NR/SR hood covers
The rest: https://www.google.se/search?q=site%...mpagnolo+hoods
I got mine from Italy via eBay.

The Cane Creeks are for Weinmann levers and the Dia-Compe copies.
Dia-Compe 204 hoods fit Campagnolo Record, Modolo, Gran Compe, Suntour Superbe, and similar levers quite well. They look good, come in gum/black/white, are comfortable, last a long time, and cost $12 a pair at Velo Orange.
