The Fat Chance, Raleigh Sports and tandem don't get ridden. In fact I haven't even built up the Fat since purchasing it three years ago. It will likely go eventually but the Sports (and sort of the tandem) has sentimental value and is here to stay.
The bikes that remain get ridden hard (except the Cinelli, which I haven't finished building yet since getting the frame back from paint from forum member sloar and component group back from thirdgenbird for cleaning and polishing). I haven't missed a single one since I sold them and haven't even been checking cragislist or the forums for replacements. I even have two spare Campy alloy 10s groups and haven't even been looking for frames to hang them on. I might just be cured. (except now I'm spending all my money on upgrading my car...
)

I managed to sell two this week myself but most of the money went to the landlord to try and get a month ahead.

I've also been slowing thinning things out over the last year or so. Now I'm down to the really tough decisions about what stays. Sentimentality is a beast when it comes to collecting anything!

Sold six in the last six weeks. Only problem is I was too successful at selling, and have only two C&V keepers left but both are a long ways from complete.

The quickest to sell were 2 HiTen Mixtes a Raleigh and a Sekine. The Raleigh also garnered thebest dollars($220) of the six sold. A pair of emerald Raleigh Sprites sold easily.
The commuter converted ridged MTB did well at$150.
The hardest to sell was a higher end pristine Sekine CroMo road bike. Go figure.
The ads and signage containing the word "vintage" got the quickest interest.

A few years ago I could list a frame/fork, say a '81 Colnago Super in Saronni Red in fair shape and it would be gone in an hour or less for $600-$650. Today it is closer to $500 or less and there might be a couple of interested parties. There was a lot of interest from people that were interested in fixies and then vintage and they seem to have moved on to other interests.

I started riding off road quite a bit and sport tourers caught my attention as well.
I still have some nice racers, but to be honest, all I ever ride are the two Chris Kvales.
Might as well sell the remainders........

I sold off all of my fancy skinny tire road bikes and replaced them with the Hampsten Crema which is currently sporting 32s + fenders. It does everything they did and more.
I need a few small bits to finish the Cinelli but I will post some pics when it's ready. Well actually, I think the only thing I need now is a bolt for the stem... I will work on it but I worry that once it's done, I will have almost no desire to actually ride it since my Hampsten is so damn nice. It's pretty enough to be a wall hanger, but my wife isn't into that so it will just sit out of sight and un-ridden in the basement. I still think I will hold on to it though.

Me too, sold a '72 BSA to a fellow in Brooklyn on Sunday. 5 is the magic number for my wife and I - 2 road bikes, 2 Raleigh Sports and my PX-10 commuter.
