I'm pretty big on jazz in general, lots of big band swing in my collection along with some Dave Brubeck, Miles Davis, Gerry Mulligan, Coleman Hawkins, John Coltrane, and more (it'd be a long list.)

There are so many great renditions of Cole Porter's tunes, but I rather like listening to him sing them. I love his lyrics.
I really like Chet Baker. He recorded a lot of standards that are my favorite vocal take of that tune. I really like his version of "That Old Feeling." But, for some reason I wanted to post this one.

Boy, but there is a lot of old fart music listed here.

I'll second Zappa, Kunsunoke. Always liked Frank. Have nearly all of his albums but find myself listening to Overnight Sensation and One Size Fits All, mostly.

Lately I've been revisiting my Police albums. I think those guys were great. Especially their first two albums.

Look for the remix/extended version onCD. I have it on vinyl, but the CD version of Hot Rats is really good.

Great stuff popping up. Nice to see Chet Baker mentioned, not everyone appreciates his rather unique vocals.

the Police and Zappa for sure.

For me, it's Highway Star, Deep Purple, 1972.

What a speed song! I just know that I can beat Mark Cavendish in a sprint finish listening to this song!

Anything that isn't rap or modern pop.

I have close to 8 gigs on my MP3 player, from 70's acid rock, to rock-a-billy, to classical, to big band, to crooners, to blues, to jazz to...

Couple of my go to albums are Roger Whitaker and Nana Mouskouri.

DUDE!!! I saw A Clockwork Orange when it first came out!!! (Yes, I am old.)

All I remember was thinking after it was over, is "that was a WEIRD movie ..." I'll have to try and find it online to refresh my memory of the music.

My memory is not what it used to be ... if it ever was as I think it was ...
