A pretty bike, both before and after. Man those accents are so Peugeot.

That's a great townie bike, and like clubman said, it screams Peugeot.

@scaldin - gorgeous. Could you post some close ups?

as an aside, I'm re-working my mid-'70's Motobecane Grand Jubile yet again. Doing it today. VO Porteurs, brake levers, etc.

Looking forward to more close ups.

here's a hi-res album...

cabling is a little weird, I just reused the old ones, could be routed more elegantly. I have the original Shimano 600 RD, needs to be repaired though.

That was my first reaction, as well.

I like the box on the Pletscher mousetrap rack -- we used to do those all the time when I was a car-free starving student at UCLA.

@scaldin - thanks for the link. I like to see things "up close & personal". As an aside, don't mean to sound critical, but is your seat post clamp on backwards? It seems like it should be turned around. Or maybe they made them adjustable so saddles could be moved more forward. Just looks backwards to me.

It very well maybe. I've always felt the saddle should be further back, if I flip the mount that should do it.

The table grapes box is particularly apt for a bike named Concord.
