CCRT Autumn ride part the fourth.

As the days grow shorter and the beans in the garden explode it's time to think about the fall ride.
I suggest the Saturday of the Colombus day weekend, 11 Oct.

I'm interested if work doesn't have me in NH for the weekend. This would be my first, I look forward to details developing here as the ride nears.

Unfortunately we are playing a show (Applecrest Farm, Hampton Falls, NH) on that Saturday. Sunday would work for us. Or Monday. Either day and we are IN.

First week of September is gone and we still don't have a date. How about either the 4th or 18th of October? I'd like to make it a Saturday so Pastor Bob could attend. And I's like to see jonwvara there so I could put cash in hand for a 144 BCD tripleizer. And the rest of the usual suspects.....

New England C&V Guys & Gals,

I'm going to have a challenging schedule this October. If you can lean towards a Saturday I will do my best to be there. I know I am tied up the first Saturday. With Mrs. PB retired she keeps planning trips and making commitments, which are fun, but they eat into my bike riding.

So, I'm basically saying plan what works best for the majority and if I can get free to dash down for the day, I'll do so.

Oct 4 works for us just fine. Perhaps even better than the 18th. We've gotten an inquiry about playing on the 18th. Not sure if it will happen, won't know for a few days, may choose to ride instead anyway. But would the 4th work for everyone?

Great. We'll plan on the 4th. The 18th is still good for us too. It can be a weather-fallback date.

Reporting in because I have a better idea of my schedule: Not good for the 4th since I have a church commitment that morning.

But get this, Mrs. PB just reminded me we are going down to CC with her cousins who are visiting on Oct. 2-3! I'll just miss you guys and gals! Dang!

Of what general geographical area do we speak? Oh, I think I figured it out, Cape Cod Rail trail... I'll be inclined, depending on what happens, and when. Mum's (101.5) with us, so that always brings in extra levels of complications.

I'm afraid I'm iffy, guys. Depends on what the shoulder surgeon says next Monday. If he has an opening in his schedule soon, I'm going for it. If not, I may be there.

Scott, sounds like no fun, but it probably will feel better after the knife!

Okay guys and gals, I'm going to see if I can get out of my commitment at the church on that Saturday morning (Fall Clean-up day) by getting a few major projects done early (i.e. putting in my "perspiration" equity before everyone else). Then if I can talk Mrs. PB into staying an extra night and letting the cousins depart on Friday I'll be there. More later!

Rev, pull that off and I'll have a 22oz White Fox Ale (Skowhegan's finest) chilled at the end of the ride for you.

Funny, but I just stumbled across this thread. I've been very busy lately, started a new job 3 weeks ago and I'm in the process of selling my house and buying a much smaller one. The new job, unfortunately, is third shift, which means I finish my work week at 8 AM on Saturdays. I haven't had a lot of riding time and would love to do this ride, but I don't think I can make it. I'll keep an eye on things and hold out hope that there might be a last minute change in plans. Enjoy the day, and take pictures!

It sounds like everybody has a lot going on this fall ... I wish everyone the best and we'll ride with you in our heads.

CCRT Autun ride part the fourth.

It looks as if I'll be present! Along with Mrs PB (who will need to ride her electrified MTB). We'll need to scoot after the ride to head home. But might be free Friday night. More later.
