If it's your typical Nashbar sale, the prices all went up 25% the day before.

Their sales go in cycles. In a week or two there will be another 20% off sale. They have some really great deals at times. Their "Vuelta Corsa Lite Road Wheelset" is $167.99 today. If I needed wheels I'd be all over that.

I noticed a while back that they have a 20% sale every 1.5 weeks or so, and sometimes a little extra on Sundays; I signed up for their email and waited go the steel cross bike with 105 group for about $670

I have Vuelta Corsa HD wheels on two bikes. The HD part is just that they have 36 spokes; they're really not that heavy. I got each pair for less than $150. I think the 2nd set cost me $130 + shipping.

I've been riding one of the sets for a little over 4 years now. They're still running true and the hubs are super-smoothe.

I'm looking at those wheels too. I wish they didn't have black rims though. Looks out of place on a C&V bike.

I have one set on an old Bianchi. I peeled the decals off because red has no place on a celeste bike (except for the Columbus decal).

I know. I came *this close* to talking myself into it... but it's for a bike that's not at the top of my list right now and I've played somewhat fast and loose with the finances recently and I'd like to stay married...

See today they're back up to $150 and I'm wishing I'd have jumped on them because I need some retail therapy this morning to cope with the Royals loss. So close...

is this turning into a wheelset post? if so, i purchased a set of Vuelta CORSA something or other Pros a few years ago. They are heavy, but I don't race anymore, so it's OK. They were fine for $120.
The only issue to report was a set of SERFAS tires that were AMAZINGLY tight on these rims. I'd puncture the inner tubes if I wasn't beyond catagory careful.
Yes - it could have been the tires. A set of CONTI GatorSkins seemed better.
- still not a nashbar fan.
