firenze gl 2000- General info at the least is well appreciated at this point

Does anyone have any knowledge about this bike or can someone point me in the direction of a web page with some info? I cant find much about Firenze bikes online at all. I really just want to do some reading about the model because I have heard that this bike can be a little pricy when it comes to repairs.

Thanks much!
Nikki

I have one that I stripped down and put on a different crank and a coaster brake wheel. Don't worry I didn't spend any money on it.

There was a local electronics shop that gave these bikes away with purchase of a stereo or TV - it was a pretty popular promotion, pretty rotten bike. I worked on one once at a free bike clinic - the patch I put on the tube was worth more than the whole bike.
