The bike with no History the Raleigh Rialto HELP!
So im looking to buy a vintage bike and i came across this oneh ttp://sandiego.craigslist.org/ssd/bik/4836952647.html and i try to look up the history of it and there is little to none. It seems off past threads it can be dated to oct 1979 in Holland but thats were it ends. What is it worth? Why isnt in any of the catalogues? Why is it named after a city in California that now has a Raleigh factory? How was originally setup? Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, not a lot of info out there.
There is an older thread here, provides a little info
https://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...know-bike.html
Bike looks to be midrange, probably late '70s. QR hubs, cotterless crank. Stem shifters might not be desirable, though some people seem to like them. $160 might be high. It would be interesting to see what the sticker on the seat tube right below the seat post lug is; perhaps a tubing sticker?
