Interchangeability of bolts on Nuovo/Super Record brakesets?

On the old Nuovo/Super Record brakes, are the bolts interchangeable between the recessed and nutted versions?

Yes. Assuming the main pivot bolt. The cable clamping bolt changed from a traditional 8 mm head to an allen key head, if you want to change that you will need the matched clamping block.

Tis the pivot bolt I was thinking of. My Fuji Pro was drilled out for recessed brakes in the front only, by a previous owner. (It was a former fixie that I rescued, so perhaps that explains it.) I've contemplated replacing the rather threadbare bolt on the front brake with a recessed bolt, thus avoiding the convex washer workaround I have on there now.

I have filled the backside of a recessed fork crown with an "oilite" bushing with a small flange at one end, it did require a drill out of that bushing, but it is reasonably soft material.
If the long bolt is in poor shape, you could always thread it down and trim to use the allen nut, since the threads are described as poor.
The die will be toast after due to the chrome plating you need to cut through, even with liberal amounts of cutting oil.

Not sure how the convex washer works into it. Hopefully you are not having it do all the work at the oversized hole.

I just put a Flat washer under the Nut and tightened it up , the tension pulls it firmly against the front of the fork , and rear of the rear brake bridge, fine, solid.

No gymnastics needed . the <C> 2041 toothy Grip washer works Fine, as usual.

Fitted them on a RB1 frame , It's made for recessed nuts .
