It's better than that, it's not even a debate, he just wants to insult people. Hilarious!

So it's OK for this guy to just accuse "hipsters" of stealing this bike, and nobody calls him out? It's not my fault he's so rude. Place your blame on Kunsunoke, where it is due.

Besides...we all know that it's not hipsters you have to watch out for stealing your bike, it's freaking Albanians. The only good Albanian* is an imprisoned Albanian*.
I've had the misfortune of meeting Lost Architect...he doesn't look like Annie Sprinkle after a sex change. He looks like the same people who work in my office.
*My apologies to any actual, or fictional albanians. My selection of your nationality was completely random. You Belushi sucking weirdos.

Whatever else happens, we need to keep watching out for this bike.
My guess is that the parts will show up on eBay or Craigslist as soon as the aforementioned criminal scumbag feels as though nobody's looking. This is going to take a while, so the thread needs bumping on a periodic basis.

The beardo comment seemed random and unnecessary, but...at the same time...the thread is about the stolen bike, not culture wars. I don't think you're wrong, I just think maybe it's not the right forum.

Worth putting that info out front, for sure - and clarifying if c-t-c or c-t-t.
Cannondale catalog for 1988 lists a 60 and 63, BTW. Don't know how they sized their bikes, as I've no significant experience with Cannondale products.

I just hope that with all of us watching, the bike will end up recovered and the thief receive his comeuppance

Nothing better than personally delivering some comeuppance to a thief. I once caught up to a meth-head who stole a friends bike from in front of the bar we were at. I had a decent amount of alcohol in my system along with a immense amount of adrenaline. I'm not exactly proud of my actions, looking back. Long story short, my friend got his bike back and one meth-head wouldn't be stealing bikes for a little while.

Glad your buddy got his bike back and I hope there's a happy ending here, too.

Difficult to put in words.
