Have a part to make bike

Ok so I have this T A crank it's nice. I have talked about it in the c and v what's it worth area.
If I was going to assemble parts around the crank and a rando French type bike what would they be?

it would help readers to make useful suggestions if you could state an era you would wish to replicate.

The beauty of the TA cranks, and why they are still desirable now, is that they just look "right" on a lot of bikes. I personally like them on French-style randonneuring bikes. Like this:

As yours is apparently a "Criterium" set, I'd expect them to end up on a really nice vintage European racing bike. With that BCD your smallest chain wheel option will be like 45T or so. Not much good on a touring bike, unless you live in Holland.

Hurett Jubilee Derailleurs and Simplex shifters would be phenomenal on a nice Gitane or Motobecane.

I started a project with a crank once. I found this beautiful black Stronglight Speedlight crank and had to have it. Then I scored a great deal on a Batavus SP frame, I got some other black CampI goodies and the rest is perfection.

Sorry, no suggestions to give but like the thread idea. In the same boat, have the TA crank too and a nice set of MAFAC canti's. I have been wondering myself what nice French frame to look for.

Your right racing bike with my teeth count. It's said my crank is pre 71 or so.

Saw some nice examples, that would certainly inspire me: here, here and here.
