The Olmo brand doesn't get a lot of publicity here in the USA, but they have made some fine bikes. in 1997, I picked up a used Olmo Competition, complete with heavily panto'ed Campy NR components. It's been a good bike and has seen a lot of miles ever since...

I've got a Flickr group for my Olmo Competition. Most of the pics are from the days of film cameras, and the scans aren't that great. I really need to find a nice sunny day and take some good detailed photos.

Eels are quite cool...we once had one that survived OUTSIDE the aquarium for three hours! He slipped under the stand for the aquarium and it took us forever to find him...slid him back into the water...and a few minutes later away he went!

Lol I had a very similar experience- found Hector stuck to the floor in the morning and had to gently pry him off with a spatula and water. Put him back in the tank and he was good as new.

That's the truth indeed. We'll be celebrating our 25th anniversary in June, and everyone thought it was a mistake when we married at 19. You just need to drop some hints to your wife - I showed mine what the Columbus and Reynolds logos look like so she knows what to look out for.

-15……..I can't imagine, in my wildest dreams, what -15 must feel like let alone going for a bike ride in those conditions. You Canadian's are a tough breed.

It's looking good. I will ALWAYS agree to a Campagnolo upgrade - hahaha. It looks like a fantastic riding bike.

Mittens - my lesson for today. I used to use motorcycle gloves when the weather turned really cold here - and I'm talking in the region of 0 to +3 degrees!!! I think my poor little fingers still felt the cold - should have had mittens.
