Yeah, that's a very lovely bike!

Some of your pics make it look like it's riding sideways though. :D

There are greens, and there are greens. When I started working at the Peugeot dealership in 1972, UO-8s and UO-18s came in white, blue, and green. The boss always complained that he could not obtain as many whites as he could have sold, but he referred to green as the "dragfish color," because it sold so slowly. I like your green -- which is almost a British racing green -- far better than the stock UO-8 green.

In the 1980s I drove a dark metallic green 1973 Chevrolet Chevelle, which my carpool mates called The Dinosaur. After I got it painted bright green at Earl Scheib, one of my coworkers commented that his little son always referred to the color as "geen," but he never knew what "geen" was until he saw my car.

That made me smile. :)

Looks great! I also love that deep green color, which looks great with the brown leather. Many more happy miles to you!

P.s. I also sometimes have similar issues with flipped images. I use photobucket. I find that if the image is not saved in the correct orientation on my computer before I import it into photobucket, it won't appear in the proper orientation when I copy the image link to BF.net (even if I change the orientation in photobucket).

Thanks all! The seat is actually a Brooks B17.

I have one of those frames, but my favorite color for them is the bright metallic green they had. Your deep green is a very decent substitute.

The original blue on this U08 was just too damaged and faded but the frame spoke to me and was asking for a repaint and an upgrade. I am very satisfied with the final outcome.
