Glad that I went to Goodwill today (Technium content)
I held to my plans of joining a friend today on a short lunchtime shopping trip, even as I was but 15 minutes into recovery from a 45-mile, hilly, fast and foggy morning ride, but I'm glad that I did. I even payed for a somewhat upgraded lunch for the two of us, since she had prodded me to visit the stores across town in the first place.
I bought a really nice steel Technium frameset once, hewn from some 753 tubes, but this has to be the nicest of the many aluminum Techniums I've bought.
It's a "Scott Tinley Tri-Lite"
Nicer Cyclone 7000 derailers/shifters/hubs/cranks, with Royal Compe brakeset and Cinelli Bars/stem.
Soft, 13-19-style Rigida rims both got damaged, but rear has been re-laced with DT spokes to a nice MA40 rim. The front rim is rideable but is lumpy enough to warrant replacement with an O4CD rim that I think matches the existing rim's spoke-length requirement.
BTW, hope it's not verboten to mention the thing cost $70.

Congratulations!
I always overpay for stuff. I'm glad you got a deal.

I can't believe you found it that cheap in any NorCal Goodwill!
The shops on this side of the Bay would have priced it at twice that and maybe even higher.
I haven't seen a bargain priced bike at Goodwill in more than a decade...NICE!

Nice score! My local thrift stores ask $69.95 for a weathered and beat up department store bike that was donated. These low end mountain bikes are 25 to 40 bucks on Craigslist. On a side note this morning I bought some good used messenger nylon bags that I'm going to convert into panniers. My total bill for three bags at the thrift store was 11 bucks...

The thing about thrift stores around here, there are plenty of good deals, just not on bikes. I occasionally find a nice bike at a thrift store, but it is rare. I found three total at thrift stores in 2014, and I go to thrift stores all the time. Fortunately, I ALWAYS find other bargains, otherwise, I would have stopped going long ago.
In the past (five years ago or before), I was continually finding nice bikes cheap at thrift stores. I found five in one stop once, four vintage Fuji racing bikes and a vintage Schwinn racing bike. Those days are long over.

I deliberately popped into this store repeatedly following the holidays, and finally came across a row of road bikes that had just arrived outside, in back of the store. It took me all of those seven visits to get a good-priced Motobecane Gran Touring and Centurion MasterTG about three weeks ago, riding my bike to the store in the darkness and cold every time (even rolling the bikes home).
I finally met and talked with one of the employees that is charged with pricing the merchandise, and he used Ebay auctions to establish valuations, though of course lacked the detailed knowledge to accurately price bikes.
I did tell him that the nice Norco road bike (with claw-mounted rear derailer but otherwise nice, and in near-top condition) was worth about $80 and not the $299 that he had priced it at! Price went down to $125 the next day, then to $103 the day after that. The Norco then sold while I was eating lunch while pondering a possible purchase for $103.
Goodwill also lowers the price of bikes that come in with no air in the tires.
I at first thought this Raleigh was none-to-original, since I spotted the mis-matched rims and thought surely it didn't originally have Cinelli bars/stem. And the Stronglight headset had odd, heavy road-rash on it that suggested to me that it was original to a different bike.
Looking it over, happy to find slightly tri-leaning 72x73-degree head and seat tube angles, and 58x57cm sizing with the 10cm stem. Also has a very nice suede saddle and new-looking Continental tires, so I may ride it today despite a rough-feeling bottom bracket and primitive chain.
My first priority for now is working a trade toward a particular local, mint '78 Centurion Semi-Pro in my size, can't hurt to try!

Doesn't seem that any of the "usual suspects" (Sheldon Brown Retro Raleigh or Kurt Kraminer's Headbadge) have catalog scans of '87 or '88...maybe the best you can do is look at pictures from image searching and try to glean what you can.

Nice looking bike, I think I recall seeing a few of those back then.
