Suggestions for a good inexpensive 700c wheel with a coaster brake hub

I'm thinking about entering a ride/race that has a category for gravel trails/coaster brake/under 300 smackers bikes. I have a bike that will fit the bill, but no wheel (or wheels so far). Probably going to ride something like 28mm width tires. I weight 175 lbs. Helpful suggestions?

700c and a coaster brake? You may have to build those.

Try Bike Island or Niagara

The only pre-built one I could find for anywhere close to cheap when I did my build. And it aint very cheap. Your LBS can order one from J&B Importers if they have an account. https://www.jbi.bike/web/checking_pro...t_number=71837

There have been wheelsets like this on ebay that are aimed at the fixie crowd: brakeless look while having brakes.

Pre-edit--

OK--there are a bunch of them out there:

^ OH Yeah!

Even a couple with the 2-speed kickback hubs, and not horribly expensive. Too bad most of them are the hideous deep-V, pink/green/yellow/bestickered cheap-fixie looking wheels.

Those are awesome Curtis, but I would a nervous wreck subjecting them to the gravel roads of Kansas. Plus, someone would instantly steal away my bike, assuming that the wheels alone worth worth way more than the 300 smacker cost limit. Those look way nicer than any wheelset I currently have, or could dare dream of owning.

Op asks for help, gets spammed by a shameless self-promoter. What kind of fool pays that kind of money for what Shimano does just as well for $20?
