At the end of the day, regardless of how "artistic" and "maker faire" one wants to project themselves, it's a business. If WalMart makes 2-3 percent off the sale by being the payments clearinghouse, it's making money. The actual vendor makes a greater percentage of the sale in profit because they don't have the overhead of cash handling and payments processing expenses. Competent accounts receivable folks are rarely paid what they're worth and are hard to hold on to, especially in small businesses where they multitask.
Put on your made-in-China licensed product Guy Fawkes mask and chant about the 99 percent if you want while destroying public property, but know in your heart of hearts it's all about money. Ain't a damn thing funny. Got to have a con in the land of milk and honey.

We have a Guy Fawkes BBQ every year, replete with made in China masks. We have a massive driftwood bonfire on the Bay of Fundy and plot how to keep the government from stealing more money and info from us.
Ooops, no politics here. Nice hubs!

And you have to like how it rolls off the tongue - Tour de France 'Stage One'
56cm Tour de France Stage One Vintage Blue Fixed Gear Bicycle - Walmart.com
Ps. Make sure you have someone assemble it for you, next to the bbq. grill with loose screws.

The only downside/risk is potential late payment or default associated with the 3rd party. Some of these companies enter these arrangements to enhance their cash flow statements, though with current interest rates it's less profitable.

Hey, you buy that Nickelodeon Diego Boys' Dino Bike one page down and what are you going to soup it up with? Gotta have those slick hi-flange hubs. And a JIS bottom bracket. No one else on the block's got one of those!

It is indeed all about money. And money is an abstract concept worth exactly nothing. Funny how that works!
