Paletti Super Prestige SLX with Campagnolo C Record Build

Just finished this build yesterday. Your standard Campy C record stuff on it like everybody does.

I woudn't have been able to imagine that saddle and tape working on any bike, but I like it. Very 80s, lots of style. I don't know the builder.

I've never ridden one, but those Palettis are eye-catching.

Enjoy the ride!

Love the look of the frame and C Record...but...sorry, just cannot quite get there with the saddle/bar tape. That being said, not all style is for everyone...and this definitely screams ITALIAN! So...with that...it does rate as a great Italian look in my book...just not for me personally...

I love the bike and setup but the tape and saddle are a distraction IMO. Plain white would look better if you ask me.

And what's up with the gold seat post? Should be a ton of fun to ride though.

I think the seatpost is a 3ttt or miche, but I'm not certain. It doesn't look like c-record in the photo. I like the saddle and tape here...the bike's paint and panto are already over the top, and the tape and saddle fit.

I can't figure out the post either.

Not C Record.

Fantastic, fun bike. Love the colors.

It keeps balance in the universe.

Thanks for all of the comments. The seat post is a campy super record 10th Anniversary super prestige paletti pantograph gold plated. I wanted to do something different with the saddle and bar tape and not do the plain white on white.

I've never heard of a campy 10th anniversary group, and it doesn't look at all like super record. Would you mind some closeups of the post?

This is a beautiful build but I think the quick release buttons are in the 'open' position. Are they way on purpose?

And the frame is made from this:

Horizontally stiff, yet vertically delicious. Do Not ride this bike in the rain !
