campy grease
is it worth anything? I still have the large tub and used very little. I am sure its solidified by now? It was the grease of choice back then, right? That or Park? It was expensive then and it wasn't very good grease is what I am thinking but everyone used it on their high end race bikes so why not. I overhauled an old bench top drill press with that grease and its still kicking.

clarification: Worth not in terms of money, but for someone who's putting something special together that must have period correct stuff like grease

The new Campanolo Grease is much better than the older grease in the round tub. I have both, the tub grease to look at the newer grease to actually use.

Phil Wood now. Various greases in the past.
On a real classic it is imperative to use only period-correct grease. And period-correct air in the tires. That really increases the value on ebay.
Remember, the grease in original only once. The air I'm not so sure about because air is so easy to contaminate.

I always liked Campy grease. Think is is very good stuff. Not that grease technology hasn't improved some, I suppose.
The container is worth more than the contents but, empty containers go for a lot less than full ones.
Full, un-used container and the sky is the limit. It amazes me what some folks pay for those.
