SuperLA Sport

Saw this add on CL for a "Vintage SuperLA Sport"
He has a good picture of the headbadge and I only know of Super LA BMX bikes
It looks like a three speed and he claims it was used on the set of movie Max. This seller often get his add very wrong.
Vintage Super LA Sport
Maybe someone will know what it is.

Well, he got the price wrong, that's for sure.

There's more rust there than bike.

Max? Never heard of it. Claiming and proving are two different things. If your need a labor of love project and have 200 to waste go for it, but I don't see a diamond in the rough.

The fork crown hints that it might be a Rudge, which was a very nice English three-speed. I like those bikes a whole lot, but I agree there's too much rust. Pass!

appears marque is actually Superla rather than SuperLa.

you might try some searching under that one...

was able to find images of a "Superla Sport" headplate.

Sorry I did not want you to think I was interested in it. I had never seen that headbadge before. This used junk shop is not to far from me but I have never stopped as his adds are so outrageous. Google turned up nothing.
Thanks Ed
