I think it is time for this bike to be on the road again.

They are nice riders. Mine grew fat tires, but still has road manners. I use mine on ORV trails that are too soft for a cross bike.

What are your plans for the build?

Good question. I can either go with a mish mash of parts I have (Ritchey square taper crank, tenspeed with down tube shifters) or put a new 11 speed Shimano group on it. Still thinking about it. What's your opinion about what to put on it?

I had an old Athena groupset sitting here, so that's what I tossed on mine.

If I were you I'd grab a 105 or Ultegra groupset from Ribble. Or you could go Veloce or Athena if you are a Campy guy. All of these are priced well and would provide a ton of performance.

BTW Velomine has a nice set of Archetypes with 105 hubs going for $219 right now. So, you could pick up the 105 groupset and the H Plus Son wheelset for about $500.

I've never heard this name. Is the builder in Minnesota?
I have made this longer than usual because I have not had time to make it shorter. --Blaise Pascal

    Yes, Minnesota builder.

Built nice framesets 25 years ago with superb House of Kolor finishes. Very, very pretty bicycles and they were raced by various local shops.

I usually think of the local shop Grand Performance when I think of this brand.

Production increased in the early 90s and Erik Noren of Peacock Groove began building for the brand before they ceased production.

In fact, Erik may have built all three of these pictured above.

Thanks for the info, Gomango. I think I found a set of wheels on Velomine (different ones, I don't like black wheels).

BTW, that is quite a collection on Flickr.

    Thanks.

I do get carried away, but not all are mine thankfully.

What did you decide to use for a groupset?
