What is the deal with Strava lately?
Strava has been misrecording my rides lately. Data is wrong and even the dates of hte rides are wrong. It all is accurate on my device but once uploaded to the website it gets changed.
Anyone else have this issue?

I use cyclemeter now and boot the info to Strava, I do load my walk/jog/run straight in through the Strava front door but may change that up soon too :-).

I have not had any problems with Strava. They do have a help desk, perhaps you could submit a trouble ticket.

I've been loading ride and trainer data into Strava without issue. Sorry.

Haven't noticed any funny business here, either. My rides are sync'd through Garmin Connect.

Haven't had any problems here. I use a garmin 705 and just upload my routes manually. What type of device are you using?

I use a phone and had issues with multiple apps and phones
Droid RazR HD: Strava underrepresenting distance. RunTastic under. And another one that I can't remember waaaay over on distance.
Now Samsung Note 4: RunTastic under. Strava accurate within .03 miles everything I've checked. Usually within .01 or .02 at the worst (which may be from me weaving a bit on the street when I'm just practicing my balance on open subdivision roads).
RunTastic worked fine for my wife with both an iPhone 4 and 6. We've checked all 4 phones against manually entering routes into pedometers to check accuracy.
If you use a phone make sure you turn on anything that can help with accuracy: GPS, data, wifi. Turn it on a bit early. I generally start Strava when I'm filling my pack or pockets. And even then you may just be getting bad luck with GPS coverage in your area at that time. There are phone apps that can show which satellites the phone is receiving from and how good your connection/accuracy is.
Hopefully your innaccuracy is from a phone app and not a dedicated device like a Garmin. That'd be frustrating to have a GPS that is not accurate. It was bad enough having a phone that was still a great phone but not a reliable GPS.

Mine are all good but I use a garmin, not a phone. I second the motion to open a ticket with Strave.

If I use the strata app on my phone the mileage matches my garmin in but the climbing is always about 30-40% higher. So naturally I use the strava numbers

Although one issue I have currently is that I have a KOM that shows up on my feed, but the leaderboard still has an old time of mine... grrrr..... I want to feel special!

Update: I have a trouble ticket submitted....no response yet.
Not sure what the issue is but it is really strange. Not that big of a deal really but super annoying. I am saving up for a flash bike computer but for now I am stuck with strava on the phone.
Regarding the chinese firewall....well that causes all kinds of other problems but it is not related to this. Plus once you learn how to subvert the government you can get around most of the sites they block anyway. LOL.

I have had simular issues starting last spring. I was working out of town in New Orleans riding everyday after work and it wouldn't always upload and would give errors. I started using Mapmyride instead. I only had the free version and was about to upgrade but not while I was having those issues.
