Bragging rights
My employer is big into the fitness thing and every quarter we have a challenge. For this quarter it's cycling and there are weekly and then quarterly winners. Well, last week I won the weekly mileage! This from a guy who didn't cycle 80 miles all of last year let alone 85 in one week (which I've done twice). Big employer too. We have 700 union members alone, plus salary, so well over 1000 people at our site. I don't know how many are doing the challenge but I'm pretty darn happy with myself right now. I've got no shot at the quarterly because I was out in April and May, so I'll only have June mileage counted.

Awesome!!!
I often talk about setting goals, but it is difficult to set a goal without an end result/reward. Great way to challenge yourself and achieve a goal!! Keep at it, set some more goals that you can knock down and celebrate.
