Put little bushes on top of the sticks and pretend you're out here.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Sammy with fresh cilantro, scallions and a lit of sriracha on spelt toast.

Hey PhotoJoe, can you do me (and maybe somebody else) a favor, and when you start a new monthly Carbo-Load thread, drop a comment on the old one? I enjoy this open forum, but I keep forgetting to look for a new thread in a new month.

I was grilling some salmon last night on my awesome new(ish) grill and must have stepped on a bee or something because my foot hurts and the ball of my foot is swollen.

Yes, I was barefoot. That's how I grill in November.

Usually what I step on when I'm grilling barefoot outside is shards of shifter cable from the last time I did bike work out on the patio. Trimming frayed cables, those little bits shoot everywhere!

I was in the city today. Looked like what @TrojanHorse describes... they was planting stop signs and red lights like effin crops. Not sure how many I didn't see but based on the horns what was honking it must could been a bunch. Couldn't go 200 feet without some dag gum reason to stop.

If I lived there I'd dang sure move out that place right fast. No reason for 40,000 people to live in such proximity I tell ya, down right just don't make a lick of sense. According to the Al Gore invented interwebs it's 3,364 folk per square mile! Are you kiddin me. That's like folks piled on top of each other!

The city moto: "
Motto:
A Great Place to Live, Work, and Visit"

Yeah, um not only no but hellz no! Hope I don't ever have to go back in that hole.

Dangit. My big toe is swollen, red and itchy as all hell today. I had trouble getting my shoe on that foot tonight, and it felt... interesting.... putting significant pressure on that foot to get up a hill.

I'm guessing my bee friend nailed me between the ball of my foot and the pad of my big toe, because that's swell central.
