Make sure you scan them when you get them in the mail. From what "I've heard", they fade after about 6 months, then the collage you made in the man-cave looks like you just framed grey pieces of paper and hung them on the wall.

Pellets probably won't do it. Heck, I can't even take out the avocado eating fat squirrel in my back yard with a pellet gun. And it isn't for lack of hitting him either, he just runs up a few more branches.

Son, you need a real pellet gun. Not your daddy's Daisy...

Yeah, mine's an older hand-me-down. The negative I hear about "real" pellet guns is that they're almost as noisy as a real boom stick, so I'm leaning towards low velocity 22 for mr squirrel.

You need a screw on tin can with some baffles and fiberglass packed in it. Makes them booms not so noisy . More like a pfffffffffft

The .177cal +1000fps nitro-piston break barrels are a bit quieter than others. I've got a Beeman that does in the upper 1200s with teflon-cored coated pellets, and it's not especially loud. It will take a limb right off of a ground squirrel, though. I have a .22cal that pushes field points out around 950fps, but it's not a sure thing with the leather-hided squirrels.

Squirrels are super cute, when they're in like a forest or something, and not riddling my yard with a network of sapper tunnels, and chewing through everything with roots. Anyone who would consider any secret probations has never dealt with squirrels. Little fluffy... demons.

Squirrels are only 15% as bad as gophers. I actually kind of like my squirrel - he's got sass. It's not going to stop me from putting my A game out there, but it's all based on respect you know.

The gophers, on the other hand... my wife found a company that will come out and literally blow them out of the ground. I have to find the video for you guys, it's like they're 14 yrs old and saying "Hey Ma, lookit this!" right before they hit the igniter. Comical.

I like Squirrels...
Usually in a pot pie
Wrapped with bacon and cooked in the oven is good as well. (Do Dove the same way)
Marinated in buttermilk and black pepper then on the grill with some onions and green peppers.

tap tap tap... patently waiting

gophers, like groundhogs are horrible for diggin up fields. Groundhogs though, when they are young, are quite tasty. See buttermilk marinade above then they go in the slow cooker

No. Just no.

Anyway, here you go. I'm REALLY not sure how this is better for your lawn than the damn gophers are in the first place!

See, you aren't thinkin' ahead there son. After you destroy the yard you then get to charge the owner for redoing the landscaping.

Squirrel..... one of the best tasting critters out there. An avocado eating one I bet would be great.

Squirrels? Aguilla SSS .22 ammunition. quiet, and legal. Or get a live trap, trap squirrels, process squirrels into soup (win, win). Tan the squirrel hides and make a coat for your wife

Yes, but less of those hides than mouse hides I have been battling mice in the laundry room with an average of two a week caught (it was three a day for the first week), and I keep threatening my wife to skin the mice and make her a mouse hide coat

My freezer has beef (grown by friend, all grass fed)
Pork (grown by a friend)
chicken
venison

some corndogs
some microwave burritos (for the kids you know).

I once told my kid there was a CA State Spice Certification Board and he would have to eat a whole jalapeno when he turned 18. He believed it for a long time...

https://ruberad.wordpress.com/2009/12/28/spice-board/

Also related, I recently bought a big (5lb?) bag of frozen jalapeno hush puppies from my local Grocery Outlet. They were really good! I'd love to find some jalapeno corn dogs!
