From here, 80 miles will be easy.

I agree. 80 miles in March will be no problem. So, are you shooting for a century (imperial) sometime later this year?

Once you hit 80, a century is totally doable. In fact, I think once you hit 80... everything becomes easier. Century will be doable. It's all about eating and drinking and on-bike comfort after that.

Very exciting! Good luck this summer! (Georgia.... up here in Michigan I'll be excited for even one ride outside by March 19th.)

Nicely done! The 80 mile route will be easily doable now. I did 4 metric plus rides last year. Shooting for at least 6 this year plus two imperials. Likely won't be outside until April though.

I'm starting to feel that my location and the accompanying weather allowed me to overachieve in 2015-- I had seventeen rides of 100km or greater, and two imperials (109 and 115 miles.) This year I'm shooting for a minimum of 2 metrics per month.

As far as metrics go it'll be the firefly and the twilight gambler around my area without traveling
I tried to kill it on a short sleet ride in ga yesterday and only got to an 18.4 avg @17.5 miles , was disgusted !!!!
I DEFINATELY want to improve on my avg on my metric rides , but happy I can be on the bike

Good job. Be sure to get your cherry fixed though, otherwise it might cause a rash.

    First congratulations!

It gets addicting. The day will come when anything less than 62 sees like you are slacking.
I think its disgusting and terrible how people treat Lance Armstrong, especially after winning 7 Tour de France Titles while on drugs!
