Took my rebuilt CX bike up to Donner summit for some high altitude cycling. Put 20 miles on a shakedown ride. Replaced chainrings, chain, cassette, bottom bracket, and cleaned and lubed everything else. After a little fine tuning she runs like a champ. Had a screaming fast descent down from the summit into Truckee. A little cool with some snow out on the shoulders of the road and way too much fun!

MTD 415 miles.

I leave Wednesday for Canada, and the tour itself leaves Friday and is about 175 miles, so, unless disaster strikes, I'm now guaranteed to meet my milage goal! Hoping to get one more decent-length ride in tomorrow, but it's just for kicks now :-)

Had a good race last night. Despite a small mechanical issue and the mother of all rattlesnakes coiled up on the course right in the middle of the track, managed an 11th place in my class.

Despite being on the road for work for two weeks, and the rain (OMG, the RAIN!), I managed 257 miles this month, and 10,500ft of elevation. Would love to ramp it up some more, if the weather would cooperate.

Met my goal and a (tiny) little bit more. Ended with 337.18 miles, which beats my best month by a good 50+ miles. I also had significantly more climbing than ever, having biked, having biked, for instance, up to here (I'm the woman, in case you're wondering).
