Thank-you for support

Just wanted to thank everyone. Not only has bike forums been a very good source of inspiration, but also I have been welcomed, and encouraged. Been riding every day weather has allowed, pushing myself to go farther. Have lost about 20 pounds through better eating habits and cycling. So far 273 miles since march 4th. Thank-You!

Cycling is not a sport, cycling is an addiction :-).....

But yea this is a good place, people here do not generally stroke their ego's while gazing into their own eyes in front of a full length mirror as much as some other cycling related discussion areas ;-).

Yes, exactly. I have found this subforum to consist of welcoming and friendly folks. I agree that cycling is an addiction, one that I am happy to have :-). I get alot of enjoyment from it.

I've met a whole bunch of cool people through cycling. I know there are some unpleasant people out there, but they don't seem to be in the groups that I got into. That makes the addiction worse, because there are always emails for rides.
