Aiming a little smaller for this month after last month's debacle.

Goal is 300 miles ... stretch goal is 350 miles with a metric involved somewhere.

Goal for this month is 300 miles. Did just over 240 last month, and that was almost all commuting. If I get some weekend rides in, I should be able to get there.

9/1 - 10.70

I did 311 last month, but felt rather obligated to do longer rides and some days didn't enjoy it as much, so am dialing down to 250 for September. I may ride more, but don't want to feel like I HAVE to . Having heavy rains today, though, dangit.

Was able to reach my 250 mile goal for August (although just barely), so I'll shoot for 250 miles again, with hopes of getting up to 275 miles. So, having said that......

Sept 01 = 15.54 miles.

MTD = 15.54 miles of (at least) 250 miles.

I'm going to try for 100. Since I'm in Canada and we're metric that would be kilometers. Just started riding so I hope to bump up the mileage slowly so I don't inadvertently kill my knees.

How possible is it to factor in a plus or minus variable? :-0

I kind of felt that way too. I normally don't ride in the rain and hadn't done any rides over 25 miles this year. I was riding more distance and days that I would normally sluff off. I found out that my health is much better when I have 2 hours of activity, whether it is cycling or mowing the lawn. I am going to keep this up as long as I can.

give it a range

(15)*((4*(30/7)= 257

(25)*((4*(30/7)= 428

or +/- 85.9 miles

My goal is 300 this month, but I wouldn't mind getting 350 if possible. I didn't ride this morning because I'm resting up for a century ride tomorrow.

Have a good ride tomorrow, from the previous posts it sounds like you are well prepared. May the force be with you.
Wow, with that complete you will only have 250 miles for the remainder of the month.

Stretch Goals This Month
75 miles/week
300 miles/month
Event coming up — Lord of the Springs Gravel/MTB race (what have I gotten myself into this time?)

9/1 — 40.9 — Starting the month with a decent gravel ride right of the gate.
9/2 — 39.9 — Blueberry Bicycle Cruise, supposed to be a 41-mile road ride, chilly this morning but turned into a gorgeous day. Chatted with Jim from South Bend for about 25 miles; he was planning a century by combining the 63-mile and 41-mile routes.
9/3 — 28.2 — Found out about a group ride in my town, rode 28 miles at 16-17 mph with several fit folks I hadn't met before. Glad to say I was able to keep up with the lead group. CLYDES REPRESENT.
9/8 — 32.9 — Gravel and Pavement after a 4 days of no bikey-bikey. Climbed some gravel hills and picked up some Strava achievements. Gotta love those KOMs you earn just because you are literally the only person who rides on that road
9/10 — 22.0 and 12.0 — Gravel ride with a friend this morning, and a bit of dirt hill climbing and pavement for good measure. What a beautiful weekend!
9/17 — 26.3 with 1,800 feet of elevation gain — Lord of the Springs singletrack MTB and gravel race, killer event!
9/18 — 29.8 — I went out for an uninspired ride and ended up running into my racer friend. He showed me some new gravel and paved roads. Legit hang.

MTD — 232.02

My life is about to get crazy for the next two months with work, travel, and more physical therapy. I'm going to stick with 100, I just made it last month and say stretch is 125. I just realized the Strava app of my Apple Watch it shorting me on distance. My spouse had 21.6 miles to my 20.2 miles his morning.

9/2- 21.6
