Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

Clyde Locations? Perhaps A MW Clyde/Athena Ride?

Small proposal here:
I have a route from Evansvile Indiana to Fort Wayne Indiana or it could be ridden the other way, from Fort Wayne to Evansville, or Ft Wayne to Lafayette, Indiana. What Midwest Clydes do we have (Or Athena's, of course) that might be interested in an unsupported group ride for a day or six this Spring or Summer upcoming? There'd be no fees or anything like that, and you'd be responsible for your own camping/motel/meals costs. I can organize all of it if there's any interest.

A central Indiana Cyclist has set up the route named Charlie Meyer and the route totals 365 miles.
here is the map:

Think about it! Perhaps end of May, Early June?

A thought just occurred to me! Can you imagine how terrified a small town Chinese Buffet Owner would get if 100-200 Clydes and Athena's rolled into the parking lot in full touring gear on bicycles after a 60 mile day?

I wish I was in your area! I'd join you in a heartbeat! If weather isn't too nasty, I'm going to try for a 30 miler.

Great mental image. I'm guessing the owner would instantly "run out" of everything except chow mein and fried rice.

All I can think about is the little chinese buffet in Dale, IN.. I worked at the theatre at the state park near there. They'd probably have a massive heart attack.
