    Trainer Q's

    Hi all,

I will be getting a trainer in the near future and was wondering about clipless pedals. I'm almost done building a bike, which will be the nicest bike I've had to date, that doesn't say much, seeing that I haven't been an avid rider in a long time. In any case, this will be the first time I'm using clipless pedals. I've heard that most new clipless pedal users will fall at some point at the beginnining of the learning curve.

When you are in a trainer, does it support you? I'm wondering because I'd like to prevent a fall on my nice new bike if possible (I know some accidents are unpreventable, but I'd like to minimize those). If I make a mistake unclipping while on the trainier, will I go tumbling?

The trainer I'll most likely get is the 1up trainer.

    Thanks

Actually it depends on the type of trainer. Some hold your bike in place and others you need to have equilibrium over them.

How about with the Kurt Kinetic or 1up?
